#119 – Terry Actual: Breaking the cycle of disgrace, anger, and despair

Terry Actual, a famend household therapist and best-selling writer, helps folks create the connections they need of their relationships.   • From there you flip into the “one up” of grandiosity—superiority, higher than, assault, avenging angel, righteous indignation
  • This “one down/one up”—from sufferer to avenger—is central to masculinity and conventional manhood
  • What’s devilish about shifting from disgrace (harm) into grandiosity (assault) is that it makes you’re feeling higher within the brief run, nevertheless it simply creates havoc in your life
