  1. Metabolic management is a starting point but light can do a lot more for both glucose and glutamate control within a cell because of EZ water and sunlight.

  2. When he called the body a bomb calorimeter in the Q & A this showed his dogma. Bad idea since the human body is a dissipative structure and open thermodynamically.

  3. Joe will fail, as all politicians do … the only hope is his wife … who has some medical training albeit old school. … Really what did the inventor of "K-Ration" know about nutrition, but he sold Washington on Saturated Fats … and now we have the "Refined-Carbohydrate Disease", which is defended by the FDA, USDA, NIH and it is really political. Maybe Joe can help.

Cracks have appeared as the Cholesterol Theory has fallen, and now we see Carbohydrate support as cause of diseases … always a simple math problem, no science required. We can calculate that there is only about 4 grams of glucose dissolved in the blood … QED. We can store 100 Kcal fats … and at most 2 Kcal of carb energy, probably only used for "Fight or Flight" response. Add in that insulin is a growth hormone and not designed to control anything  except the receptor gate of cells … there is NO Known Carbohydrate Deficiency disease ….

  4. Right – thanks Dr. Seyfried, keep going I am a fan … the AMA, FDA and NIH have failed the patient … Simple … The AMA (the most powerful lobby in Washington) and NIH have failed the patient … Physicians have abandoned the nutritional approach to patient diagnostics and medicine, simply because they are not trained in nutrition. This is contradictory to the motto they like to use of – I will do no harm … easy to say when ignorant.

A key part of the Hippocratic Oath … “I will prevent disease whenever I can, for prevention is preferable to cure… “, has been forgotten … Doctors have allowed themselves to be "Trained" by Big Pharma and the Chemical Industry, and this is under the purview of the AMA and NIH. Doctors cannot answer simple nutritional questions … irony. They use a catch all phrase "Idiopathic", which simply means "No Clue". Medical professionals use "I Will do no Harm",  … Medicine by Chemistry = Ignorance = Harm, and we now know that pharmaceuticals are a failed experiment …

  5. Fasting down-regulates anabolic mTOR and up-regulates catabolic AMPK that activates autophagia….do mitochondrial damaged cancer cells, like other junk proteins and damaged organelles get recycled when in AMPK (fasting mode)?

  7. It's very relevant to me. My mom had breast cancer (52 yrs after starting an active lifestyle – from sedentary) and actually died of brain glioblastoma (60). I had breast cancer (45 yrs, after I started to train for a 1/2 marathon). No "genetic" link. You keep speaking about cell respiratory affect on cell, but I'm not sure I get it. After Bx I needed up with lung MAC. I was told by Dr's that they don't know why I got MAC. Both of us had and no "risk" factors and not genetic. WTF is going on? Would love to understand what you are proposing.

  8. The embryo development have selective propriety for the blasto cells. Mytochondria and cel metabolism have linked feedback. The problem may be is not conspiration theory, but more than one or two evidences. If you remove a mytochondria of a cel, is probable that new one replace it, hierarchy. Some proteines used for mytochondria is from traduction of nucleous gens.

  9. Great lecture, excellent process. Detractors can poke holes in anything, especially sitting in front of their PCs in their underwear while those fighting the fight put their work on the line. Is Seyfried's work the end all? Probably not, but at least he's out there cutting a new path with structured and repeatable methodologies while others keep beating the proverbial dead horse. If you think you can do better, go get your PhD and government grants and get to work.

  10. Same Dogma surrounding cholesterol. The only hope is that scientists with integrity like Thomas Seyfried continue to pursue the truth in science so that individuals who care about knowing themselves, can help themselves instead of relying on the medical industry to serve up some medication and costly care.

  11. Fascinating. But it is not so simple as to say "cut out sugar and you can cure cancer," as someone says below. Cancer can use amino acids, which is why methionine is so deadly. See The China Study for how protein turns cancers on and off. And cancer can use fatty acids. Which is why omega-6 in the form of processed oils that get oxidized are so deadly. Both protein and fats feed cancer and promote it. It's not just sugar. Sugar does indeed increase insulin and thus insulin growth factors, just like red meat does, like cow's milk does, like eggs do….foods that people will use for a keto diet.

Everyone is waiting the that one bullet that will kill this horrible disease. It's not going to be one bullet. It's going to have to be many, like a Gatling gun. And I think this keto and CR thing is a great start. If nothing else, it does make one thing very clear, we are eating ourselves to death.

Fear of carbohydrates however is not the answer. You'd have to explain why the oldest living people on the planet ALL eat HIGH CARB DIETS. *They are not processed carbs though.** Nor do they eat processed oils, not even olive. In the end, I think they're going to find that it's a fake and stale food problem (free radicals), not just a sugar, or meat, or fat, problem.

  12. Why so few people know about this? Most doctors tell it's a genetic disease. First time seeing someone explaining it as a completely different condition then what others thought of. Nice video!!

  13. God bless all those dealing with a cancer diagnosis. I have been keto for 23 years since diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. In preparation for any future cancer, I am now going to seek out cancer doctors who understand this and may use it if any exist.

  14. Research has shown when cancers are given doxycycline (a common antibiotic) for a few months, many of the cells were killed off, and the ones that survived were permanently altered to be glucose dependent as an energy source for replication.

Once the cells are glucose dependent, it makes these glucose limiting therapies, drugs (like metformin) and diets much more effective.

  15. God bless Dr Agbonifo for his marvellous work in my life, I was diagnosed of HERPES since 2016 and I was taking my medications, I wasn't satisfied i needed to get the HERPES out of my system, I searched about some possible cure for HERPES i saw a comment about Dr Agbonifo, how he cured HERPES/HPV with his herbal medicine, I contacted him and he guided me. I asked for solutions, he started the remedy for my health, he sent me the medicine through UPS SPEED POST. I took the medicine as prescribed by him and three weeks later after using the herbs i was cured from HERPES, Contact him on WhatsApp +1601 227 7950 or [email protected]

  16. But dna is changed by viruses and radiation. So is a viral infection a genetic disorder? It would be if the infected cells didn't die . Watson doesn't solve problems it just restructures existing data into a string that you can understand. Data that you compiled. It sorted

  17. The reason why is because they are making money hand over fist! As soon as they can figure out how to make money from the true cure and they will not be held liable for all the deaths that they have caused, they will jump on board. I think that means when he’ll freezes over! My sister has angiosarcoma stage 4😔
