  1. 44:00 could be that the intracellular medium and the intramitochondria medium are different and for some reason those proteins need to be done inside the mitochondria or (say) the wont fold correctly. Or maybe there wasn't a move of genes, the nucleus could have already the genes and only got deleted form the mitochondria.
