  1. This has been used by the psychiatric clinics so many times in the past and I cannot even begin to understand why it was abandoned in favor of medicines that can give bad side effects.

  2. I definitely recognize this shock reaction from getting into the cold water but I also want to add the incredible endorphine boost it gives me – really makes me HAPPY, and as that isn't enough it is immediately muscle relaxing for me as well. If I have tense shoulders, tensions somewhere in my muscles cold water loosens this up. I also get a benefit from getting into saltwater – feel my skin loves that, but if I cannot do that the ice cold shower can work as a good substitute 🙂
