Sleep & Anxiety | Why You Have Anxiety In the Middle of the Night And How to Return to Sleep

It happens all too often. WE wake up in the middle of the night and can’t get back to sleep. Our minds just won’t turn off. We are anxious. And the worst part of it all is that we need rest to deal with the stresses of the day! In this video, Jesse covers an easy to apply method for getting to sleep. He explains why it is so hard for us to get out of our negative thoughts in the middle of the night and what we can do to stop the dopamine feedback loop.

  1. The cold showers and WH breaths have helped but not always. I will definitely be trying this. Thank you for creating such high quality videos just loaded with info. New sub here.

  2. nice video Jesse – gonna try it out tonight! another simple thing I've done recently which was getting me to awaken in the first place was peeing due to caffeine. so cut down dramatically.

  3. Hi there! I am wondering about yawning. Some breathing systems consider it bad and their advice is to suppress it. But I dont think thats a good idea, since it is a great way to relax. What is your opinion on yawning?
