  1. I’m only on day 5 OMAD 23:1 fasting diet, and WOOW I’ve already lost 3 Kg! Being an emotional eater, I LOVE practicing discipline and feeling in control. I am using a very low carb diet for my meal which I assume must have helped. Cooking has become a pleasure, since I look at food as a reward. Still need to figure out how to make it a lifetime thing tho. Thank you so much for your videos, very informative 👍🏿

  2. IF is amazing! My dad was a power lifter in the 80’s and is 58! He was almost 350lbs 9 months ago. He started doing warrior diet and is now doing OMAD! proud to say he is down to 260 lbs. active every morning and is now trying to lift weights again! This is seriously a fountain of youth! I love it! IF community stay at it! It works!

  3. How do you know you've hit baseline ? After 12-15hrs fasting, would my urine indicate I'm in ketosis to indicate I'm at baseline and my body is now using internal fat?. Or does the body not work like that? Thankssss for your vids btw. They're amazing!

  4. Thanks! This was tremendously useful since I was looking at taking on alternate day fasting but was concerned about damaging my metabolism. Your info on energy expenditure makes me think I should be okay fasting 24 hours 2-3 times per week if I don’t let it get past 48 hours.

  5. Thank you! Just what I needed. I am jumping back on the IF because I started lagging a little too often. Working remotely during Stay at home order and being around food all day long is not helpful. So I am starting back with 16:8 and want to move up to 20:4.

  6. What if you forgot to break your fast. Coz sometime I’m working double shifts and sometimes I forgot to eat. I just have water in the morning and tea or a lil bit soda in the evening

  7. I've been doing omad M-F and 12 to 16 on Sat and Sun for about 13 months now. I've lost 48lbs and have never felt better. I've hit a plateau though and starting to incorporate more weight training, not too big on cardio.. wish everyone well on their IF journey.

  8. Started a 20/4 intermittent fasting on 2/17/20 and I lost 15 pounds. Wanted to try ADF so I started on Monday 3/18/ 20 and lost and additional 5 pounds. All while enjoying foods I like in moderation and eating a clean diet. Fasting is the way to go.

  9. I always watch your videos, if you can make a topic of what happen if you keep on changing your fasting regement like for example one day 16/8 another day 20/4 then another day OMAD will that be effective to the body or it will mess up the process of fasting !! Peace from Arab world Ed 🌹

    So I did Omad for a month and lost 10 lbs.. I was 55 lbs overwight so I guess 10 was fine since I didnt change my diet at all.. I was just eating once a day during 6-7 pm.. never counted calories or anything.. just ate whatever I like… didnt exercise but I like sometimes just walk for 1-3 hours while listening to music.. just in my house.. the reason why I stopped is that I didnt get my period that month which scared me.. it took me like 2-3 months after quitting Omad to get my period back.. my periods arent very regular anyways.. they are always a week or 10 days late but completely skipping them scared the heck out of me.. girls!! What to do?? Should I just increase my calories? Help please!!!! I want to continue Omad.. it was the easiest way for me to lose those lbs.. !! Please!!!

  11. Hello Edward V, i’ve been an ardent follower ever since discovering your channel about a month ago looking for materials and Ll I could learn before starting IF.
    You’ve been an absolute blessing with the amount of knowledge to put on here and how dedicated you are.

    I have a question please… would eating ginger/ garlic, or taking infused tea or water (lemon, cucumber, etc) take me out of fasting state?
    I’ll like to know please. I alternate between 20:4 protocol during the week and 16:8 on Saturday and Sundays but I take green tea or lemon water and have recently been adding ginger pieces to both tea and water and wanted to know if I was actually still fasting.

  13. Been doing 20/4 with a 1800 calories intake walking 5 miles every day and lifting 4 days a week for 6 weeks now total weight loss 2 pounds

    5'9 male 44 years old started at 200 pounds 198 this morning

    what am I doing wrong?

Last month do if with 16-8 and 18-6 weekdays with slightly low carb, but weekend i dont do fasting.. lost 6kg(79 to 73 kg), and fatty liver return normal… this corona pandemic makes harder for me do if as my family insists to have small breakfast (the arguments are if might lower immune).. try to do 16-8 weekdays again.

  15. Interesting that 48 hours coincides with the outer limit for fasting in order to not decrease the strength of your immune system response. Per by Dr. Ted Naiman.when talking about fasting and Covid-19.

  16. Intermittent fasting has saved my life during this time! Without it I’m 100% sure I would’ve gained weight beings home living on my own no one helping me. Thank you for these videos and helping so many of us get through this time. Can you do a video on how to avoid gastritis while intermittent fasting? If it’s even possible a doctor told me “not eating breakfast and drinking coffee on an empty stomach causes gastritis “. I’ll be honest I haven’t looked into it but would love your opinion on this subject or your analysis on research done in relationships to IF. Thanks for the videos and consistency not talking so much about the dam Rona 😂😂😂 🤗🤗🤗

What happens when you have been fat adapted for about 6 months or so and you have not been consuming refined sugars or fast food then you go ahead and do so for a week or so what happens then ? i must mention also the sugar and fast food are consumed within the eating window does this reset your gains positive gains over time ?

  18. Edward V you inspired me to start trying I.F. I started on February 28th doing 20:4. My starting weight was 252 lbs and I've lost 17 lbs and counting! Thank you so much for continuing to make videos it helps to keep me motivated along with so many other people.
