  1. Cold showers help me get rid of most of my back acne. The rest has to do with diet and exercise. But ya I sweat easily too and easily prone to acne to begin with, though, the cold showers do definitely help me with regulating the back acne.

  2. This was very helpful. I sometimes take cold showers in the summer, especially to cool down after a workout. I was doing it on occasion because I heard it helps with fat loss, but now I will only take them because I want to and not because it helps with fat loss. Thank you, Edward!

  3. Great video I agree with the psychological aspect of it – I definitely feel more energised if I finish my shower with a cold blast (not sure I'm ready to do the whole shower cold though!)

  4. Of course it works because it’s fucking painful. To lose weight you just do painful fucking things. Eat bland af veggies with no dressing, fast long periods, workout when you don’t feel like it, don’t binge watch YouTube at night so you sleep more etc. taking a freezing cold shower is painful so of course it works.

  5. I’m 54 and I take ice baths. I do feel better it helps with controlling my pain from osteoarthritis. Don’t think it has helped in any way with weight loss! I do rinse with cold water after a shower or a bath because I’m at the age where I have hot flashes so it also helps there as well.

  6. I have taken cold showers every day for nearly three years now. Here are somethings I have noticed:
    -Near immunity to cold when outside, which is by far the largest benefit if you live in cold climate.
    -Alertness for 30-60mins allowing you to get good momentum for your day.
    -Less focus after the initial alertness state is over.
    -No post workout sweat if you take the shower after the workout.
    -I haven't been sick since starting. However, I wasn't sick before that either.
    -There is no noticeable difference in fat loss at all.
    -Initially it requires significant will power.
    -It is not a magic pill

  7. Only flaw with the identical twin study is that they didn't switch the twins up. Like switch the cold tolerant brother to the things that other brother is doing, and take the other brother to the cold tolerant things.
