2,4-Dinitrophenol (DNP) is a chemical that is not approved for weight loss in the United States. It is a classic case of efficacy, but without safety in the setting of weight loss. This setting of weight loss can be prone to chemical misuse, further exacerbating understanding in human systems. Christopher is one of 2 – 3 cases documented in literature to have survived an accident with DNP for weight loss. As of 2021, one organization has permission from the US FDA to investigate DNP in some neurodegenerative disorders. These are rare diseases with limited standards of care, therefore extenuating circumstances to find anything that could potentially improve patient outcomes.

  1. Keep up the great work, I always love watching the main channel video and then coming over here for a deeper dive into the mechanisms.

  2. This is a good place for a retired physician to gather new information outside of her speciality: psychiatry.
I never heard of this drug before this review, but then there is much in this universe idk.
I will keep coming here because of how factual this doctor is.

  3. It's strange how people will use a thin therapeutic margin to scare people away from one drug, but then they'll tell a patient to go a take acetaminophen. The bottle says don't exceed 4 grams, and 5-6 grams is enough to cause acute liver failure. That's literally 1-2 extra doses. That's a really thin margin for an OTC drug, and it causes a large amount of liver transplants. Don't get me wrong, I'm not advocating for DNP, I completely agree that nobody should ever take it. I'm just wondering why it's scary and bad for some drugs, but then totally fine for others.

  4. …… for the record….
he's extremely on point here about DNP and from experience…. do not look for this substance…
…… you'll never ever ever stop sweating while you're on it, and that sweat will be a deep yellow dye so no white clothes either….

DNP is the devil and theres an extremely good reason no doctor in their right mind would even speak about it as to not get anyone curious enough to find and try it.
    Its just… just no.
    Stay away.
Not even months worth of research on the substance can prepare you for the hell you'll live through while on it.
    Just yeah no…
    Just no.
It can and has killed many many many people due to heat exhaustion while on it and not dosing correctly…. and it happens mostly in the competitive weight lifting and body building community… where I was able to find it after a long long long search through various forums.
The entire time I was on it I could barely speedwalk without feeling like I was going to passout.
    Horrible.
So glad my risk taking stints have calmed down immensely.

Ugh…. can't believe I put myself in such danger just to lose 15lbs of stubborn weight.

  5. Don't ever take dnp. I have along with many weight loss stacks. The most successful I found for weightloss was test enanthate, tren enanthate, t3, clenbuteral and basic complex carbs and protein while staying away from simple and refined carbs. While it wasn't no where near as dangerous and combine with 1-2hrs of exercise a day worked amazing. But the shakiness of clenbuterol and the emotional swings and night sweat of clean were a bitch. It's so much easier just to exercise 2hrs a day and eat half ass healthy.

  6. Currently on my 8th or 9th DNP cycle, 4.5mg/kg/day for 2 weeks has been planned first dose of Dinitrophenolate 2.4 Sodium has been taken a few hours ago. Proper use of the compound is what makes it "tolerable" And wrong use leads to death quite easily.

  7. I've read a lot of studies on this but I never seen that one from 1934. It[s interesting that the also were discussing other forms such as DOC and DAN. In modern days it seems like only DNP is used or talked about. I think the body building "guru" that brought back DNP use is man named Dan Duchaine. He liked to bring back old meds that never got approved or got discontinued. Several guys have brought back chemicals and drugs that are no longer made or researched then they sell them themselves.

  8. I love it when people will pull up dated information and say "see I told you". Cigarettes among other things were heavily "prescribed" for things like stomach upset, anxiety, etc… Until oops that's not good for you at all.
Don't go for confirmation bias when searching for information, it just may be the last internet search you ever do… Not that I condone Dr. Google either.
