Dr. Olli Sovijärvi is a medical doctor and one of the pioneers of holistic and preventive medicine in the Biohacking world. In 2006 he graduated from the University of Helsinki with a Licentiate degree in Medicine. He furthered his studies in 2010 – 2011 completing an Integral Theory degree at the John F. Kennedy University, focusing on psychology and philosophy. For the first five years of his career as a physician, Dr. Sovijärvi was employed by Finland’s first medical recruitment agency. In this capacity he worked in scheduled patient care and emergency care. He has worked at over 40 different clinics and ER’s around Finland. Between 2013 – 2018 Dr. Sovijärvi practiced medicine at a unconventional private clinic that specializes in nutrition and holistic health care. At present, his focus is primarily on the production of scientific content for preventive health care and wellbeing. He is co-author of the Biohacker’s Handbook, the most anticipated health & wellness book of the decade and co-founder of Biohacker Center. To expand the general public’s awareness of what health care can be, Dr. Sovijärvi started the First Health Podcast in Finland. At present, his focus is primarily on the production of scientific content for preventive health care and wellbeing. He also consults to various companies and service providers operating in the wellness and health technology field.
