What the heck is a cold plunge and why do it? It has been life changing for me in discipline, energy, mental clarity, and physical recovery.
I first saw ice baths in a Tony Robbins documentary and how essential they were to his morning routine. I continued to explore and discovered Wim Hof, the master of the cold. After learning more, I knew I wanted ice baths as a tool in my life.
I went to the University of YouTube and found people like Ben Greenfield and their tutorials on how to build a cold plunge on an affordable budget. I ordered my deep freezer and other items to start the process of building my own ice tub.
I am addicted to the water. First thing in the morning I cold plunge, before bed I cold plunge, and anywhere from 3-5 other times during the day. Euphoric is the only way to describe how I feel when I get out of the tub.
