  1. So around minute 27 and before, two evolutionary reasons are being posited as to why menopause is happening.
    The first one is reaching a certain age where this ought to happen because your body is listening to a clock displaying your age, the second reason given is the body anticipates your time of death being around the corner and since "we are not lining any longer" it chooses to let this part of you die early.

    I would argue both of these are incorrect, but rather the capacity to fare well handling the burden of a pregnancy is diminished and the body gives up trying.
