  2. This is so confusing. I appreciate that Siim tried to clarify things along the way, but this other guys just goes off on wordy tangents that gets away from clarification. So annoying.

  3. "Balance in things" smh… Honestly, some of these videos lately give off this "plant food apologetics" vibe. When it comes to carbs, no it is simply not true that eating only meat will give you insulin resistance. The Inuits (not the "westernized" ones) are then insulin resistant, eh? Nope. There is a food hierarchy and fatty meat is at the top. It is very simple. There's a lot of people who have been eating only meat for a long time now and are NOT reporting that all of a sudden they are getting fat and sick. Nonsense. Your stomach also doesn't care about seasons. Nonsense. It doesn't prefer certain foods in the summer and then certain foods in the winter. The people of Iceland have also been THRIVING for centuries on end with little to no carbohydrates. They have some berries up there and some apples and pears these days, but for the most part their diet consisted of fatty meat/fish. I just find some of these people very disingenuous. A lot of untrue things are being spread about diet. The same thing can be told for salt. You don't need to eat rocks. I haven't been consuming salt for about 6 months now and know a lot of people who haven't for much much longer than that (even in the Fat of the Land it is mentioned how the Inuit find it disgusting and Vilhjalmur himself stopped consuming it after a while). What I would advise everyone to do is to check out Aajouns Vonderplanitz's work. The man is finally getting recognized these days and was WAAAAY ahead all of these new diet trends.

  4. More yada yada to focus on foods. Leading to increased eating disorders. Measure this and that, record everything, tweak, micro shit. Or: 1-eat when hungry. 2-stop when full. 3-limit feeding window. 4-fast when possible.

  5. This guy is very wordy and offers confusing solutions. I don't think I would buy his book if it is as confusing as his conversation.

  6. For one, protein doesn’t “ferment” in the gut. It is broken down into its constituent amino acids or small peptides, which are then absorbed into the enterocytes (the cells lining the intestine). So much for the rest of his information….
