BIOHACK EXPERTS Reveal The 7 Steps To REVERSE YOUR AGE! | Dave Asprey & Mark Hyman

Get my top tips for optimal health and vitality:

Increasing lifespan and healthspan are not just about treating disease but about building resilience and vitality long term. If you believe your genes are stacked against you, this is even more reason to double down on the science of creating health.

Some say if you live longer, you will spend more time with chronic disease and disability, and in the hospital, increasing the burden on society and our health care system. Not true. A famous Stanford study found that if you kept your ideal weight, exercised, and didn’t smoke, you were likely to live a long, healthy life and die painlessly, quickly, and cheaply.

In fact, simple, daily habits hold the key to unlocking your longevity potential.

As my patients get older and more concerned about longevity, we focus on three habits that create the most reward. Today I dive into the 7 steps to biohack your health to live longer with my guests: Dave Asprey, Dr. Elizabeth Boham, Dr. Cindy Geyer, Drew Ramsey, Gary Taubes, and Dr. Louis Ignarro.

Dave Asprey is the founder and CEO of Bulletproof 360, creator of the global phenomenon Bulletproof Coffee, a two-time New York Times bestselling author, the host of the Webby award-winning podcast Bulletproof Radio, serial entrepreneur, and global change agent.

Dr. Elizabeth Boham is Board Certified in Family Medicine from Albany Medical School, and she is an Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner and the Medical Director of The UltraWellness Center. Dr. Boham lectures on a variety of topics, including Women’s Health and Breast Cancer Prevention, insulin resistance, heart health, weight control and allergies. She is on the faculty for the Institute for Functional Medicine.

Dr. Cindy Geyer received her bachelor of science and her doctor of medicine degrees, with honors, from the Ohio State University. She completed residency in internal medicine at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y. and is triple board certified in internal medicine, integrative medicine and lifestyle medicine.

Dr. Drew Ramsey is not your average psychiatrist. A writer, farmer, and doctor who focuses on the connection between mental health and food, he is passionate about nutritional interventions and creative media to share a different way of thinking about the brain and mood. He is an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and in active clinical practice in New York City. He also spends much of his time with his family, growing their own food, on a 127 acre organic farm.

Gary Taubes is an award-winning science and health journalist, and co-founder and director of the Nutrition Science Initiative. He is the author of The Case Against Sugar, Why We Get Fat, Good Calories, Bad Calories, and, most recently, The Case for Keto. Gary is a former staff writer for Discover and correspondent for Science. He has written three cover articles on nutrition and health for The New York Times Magazine, and his writing has also appeared in The Atlantic, Esquire, and numerous “best of” anthologies, including The Best of the Best American Science Writing (2010). He has received three Science in Society Journalism Awards from the National Association of Science Writers, and is also the recipient of a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Investigator Award in Health Policy Research.

Dr. Louis Ignarro is a medical research scientist who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine for his breakthrough discovery of nitric oxide and how it positively impacts health and longevity. His groundbreaking research on nitric oxide paved the way for—among other innovations—Viagra. He is an award-winning Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Molecular & Medical Pharmacology at the University of California, Los Angeles, and has his Ph.D. in Pharmacology with over 35 years of experience teaching.

Dr. Ignarro is a widely sought-after international speaker on nitric oxide, cardiovascular health, and the importance of nitric oxide for a healthy lifestyle. Based on his scientific work, Dr. Ignarro started up a biotech company that focuses on the development of nutritional supplements designed to boost the body’s production of nitric oxide.

  1. Once again, a video about health has descended into Dr H accusing people who disagree with him as haters. I swear I do not feel one bit of hate towards anyone. But I still have beliefs which are antithetical to his. I look around and I see hate inundating the Left but zero in the Right. Just listen carefully and you'll observe this.

  2. You got hate cause you quoted a hateful guy that gave a good speech written by someone else. Use your own thoughts rather than quote a character that has a history of all kinds of shady stuff. Love y’all but PLEASE stay out of politics. You risk alienating HALF your audience. Please, please, please don’t do that!

  3. Ohhh please! Don’t even mention Biden. Unless you help him to reverse his dementia.πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Unpredictable person! You guys should help him to fast from politics!!!
He have done nothing good for this country for 48 years! Unbelievable.
    Progressive Marxism…
He and his team is a danger for this country!

  4. IF only every medical/health professional had the loving heart, open mind, passion and humor that Dr. Mark Hyman has. "A humble man is a happy man."IMO doctors, politician's and law enforcement should have these qualities and more thorough psychological testing. I appreciate these two men immensely.

  5. Wow, I'm feeling much smarter now after hearing that these two guys have had mercury poising. I've knows this for many years…most of my life. Someone should study people's will and how to change that. πŸ™‚
    Cold/hot showers is called contrasting.
Sprinting is fantastic. I just started doing it in barefoot shoes. Love barefoot shoes!!! Can't say enough on those. They can be life changing.

  6. You two always have a nice conversation. I admire how you make it more understandable to the Layman. And yes Mark looks like you're getting worse selenium and copper. Your hair colors coming back. Remember you need to co-factors to go with that. We need a lot of different nutrition from plants. As well as the good animal protein

  7. Unless someone does a soil test to know what nutrients are within that soil, how do you know that brazilnut even has the nutrients you're referring about. Yes, I'm sure there are some that have a lot and there's others that don't have any depends on where those roots Tapped Out.
