  1. How many of you look at the label on the packages of your food regularly? Have you noticed how "oil" appears in everything?

    Nina Teicholz, author of the best selling book "The Big Fat Surprise," deserves a lot more accreditation on this video, she was one of the first people to shed light on the problems with seed oils and the history of how they came to be.

    Also guys, this isn't even the full story on vegetable oils – there's still so many more points to talk about, for example remember the Brad Marshall's Croissant diet I mentioned? There's a specific reason why that works and why he put so much stearic acid in his Croissants. So, you can expect another vegetable oil video sometime in the future.

  2. This is by far the best presentation I have ever seen on this topic ! Thank you…now I can show it to my husband who still belives what doctors say re marjarine vs butter….and if cholesterol is a bit high…means you need to take statin drugs etc…

  3. After I took my nutrition class required for my degrees, I stopped buying any processed oils with the exception of avocado, coconut and olive oil. I use butter way more than most people use vegetable oils. I tend to eat healthier as I rarely buy foods that contain vegetable oils. Sure, the foods I get may be slightly less tasty, but I feel better and its easier to be healthier when you actually look at what you buy to inform what decisions you should make.

  4. The overconsumption of polyunsaturated fats like linoleic acid is exactly why our metabolisms are shot today & is responsible for our diabetes epidemic. Eat saturated fats, people! Lots of it! We are (animal) fat hunters by nature!

I would be interested to know what affect we would have from replacing saturated fat and PUFA with mono-unsaturated fatty acids like olive oil and avocado oil, as compared to PUFA rich vegetables. Lard is actually 56-62% unsaturated, but most of those unsaturated acids are monounsaturated. Anecdotally, I can report that I /feel/ much better with a lard-, olive oil-, and avocado oil-based diet, but of course that's nebulous and just n=1. I think the diets of the animals that we are getting these fats from are non-negligible too. If diet can affect human fatty acid composition that much, how much is it affecting cattle to eat grain which they never ate in the wild, etc.

  6. Would love to see a long form video discussing metformin. I don't have diabetes, and I'm only 29, but I have been taking it for a little while now. The science behind it is pretty fascinating but I think we need more info on it.

  7. Bravo Buddy! Awesome job. What bothers me is they’re aware of the studies and yet they still allow it to poison us. And then they try to sell us the story to get the vax because they want to save our lives? Money, money, money, we’re the cattle, lab rats for them lol

  8. Isn't it funny that despite years of data and multiple studies proving that vegetable oil causes the things it is supposed to prevent. Your doctor is going to tell you your cholesterol is too high and tell you to eat more highly inflammatory processed foods because some people are making billions of dollars out of it. Sounds like something else that is being pushed as "for our health" despite the data not backing these claims Just eat whole natural foods not made by a machine

  9. I think more the issue of it not being addressed: there are many anti-meat campaigns. If we say saturated fat is healthier than vegetable oil, then we are saying meat isn’t unhealthy because the campaign against meat targeted animal fat and cholesterol. This would counter many efforts to get populations on a low meat diet.

  10. What is vegetable oil?
    Are olive oil, sunflower seed oil, avocado oil, flaxseed oil, palm oil, corn oil, rapeseed oil, cocoa butter, all considered vegetable oil according to this video?

    It's the first time I hear this term and i just started watching the video.

  11. I just googled "healthiest oils" and some of it completely contradicts the stuff in this video. This is why I just avoid oils as much as possible. I cook without oil. Seems to be alot of division over the issue of oil
