  1. So, does anyone know why the FDA has shot down NAC? Is there a downside to the form Acetyl Cysteine that is still being sold? I know someone who has fairly severe COPD but he doesn’t have a lot of mucous. He has a hard time with CO2 and exhalation. Would this AC without the N help him?
