What up fam! Today we are talking about two groups of foods/supplements to avoid (with a grain of salt), antioxidants Vitamin E and Vitamin C and foods high in Raffinose (Pistachios, Onions, Soy, Oat Bran, etc).

More evidence is needed to conclude whether the foods in this video truly hinder performance. There is growing evidence that it may have an impact on performance.

  1. Fam, more research has to be done for these to become conclusive, but growing evidence suggests that antioxidant supplementation may impair muscle mitochondrial biogenesis and muscle hypertrophy. SMASH that LIKE button!! 💪

  2. Oh Man U just blew my mind, I’ve been doing 1000mg-ish of vitamin c during heavy marathon training in an effort to stay “healthy” and not get sick while pushing my body to the limits…. Yikes never would have thought that this could be negating all this hard work

  3. Josh, this is wonderful information and really jives with a lot of what I've learned about shorting-out your body's natural ability to produce anti-oxidants on it's own. Dude, I've smashed that "like" button so often on your videos that it's been reduced to a fine powder!

  4. 🤯 I been taking just half of my vitamin supplement tablet. I do eat 3 to 4 times a day. So I don’t think I need to take extra vitamins. But just to make sure I get everything (vitamins). 🤷🏻‍♂️
