As a race car driver, Danica Patrick broke barriers and set records with her on-track performance. At 16 years old Danica moved to the UK to compete in the cutthroat world of European road racing. In 2005, Danica stunned the world by leading 19 laps and finishing fourth in her first Indianapolis 500. She became the first woman to lead laps and score a top-five finish in the historic race. In 2008, Danica made history again becoming the first woman to win a major-league open-wheel race in a North American series with her victory in the IndyCar Series Indy Japan 300 race. In 2013, as Danica transitioned to the NASCAR Cup Series, she made headlines around the world with her record-setting performance in the 55th Daytona 500 race. She became the first woman to win a NASCAR Cup Series pole when she set the fastest time in qualifying 500 and then finished in eighth place, the highest finishing position ever for a woman in the “Great American Race.” She broke the record for most top-10 finishes of any female in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2015 and holds the new mark with a total of seven top-10s to her credit. In 2018, Danica closed out her time in racing with the “Danica Double” and competed in two marquee events that were cornerstones of her career: the Daytona 500 and the Indianapolis 500. In 2018, she shattered another glass ceiling when she became the first female host of the ESPY’s – ESPNs Sports Award show, that aired live on ABC. Her whole life she has done the unimaginable. Danica now looks to her next chapter as she focuses on her passions: good food, great wine, fitness, mind set, and helping others achieve their goals.

  1. I have excluded dairy and wheat and I noticed a change I think wheat is bad for the gut I have watched a few documentaries about it and seems to be valid I would cut out wheat and dairy

I just discovered you from watching your interview with jordan peterson just now, I am trying bio hacking to myself as a beginner, my body is the equivalent of a damaged classic car in the garage, If I had your circle of connections perhaps I could make videos to cherry pick the best of each master of certain disciplines like a pit crew to explain how to restore each part of me with charts and graphics that need attention to get back to restoration.

  3. Wow! I can't believe how much I learned from watching this! I've been an athlete my whole life ( 50s now) bodybuilding, sports, 1/2 marathons. Last 2 years I run 5 miles everyday. I learned so much about glucose and modern recovery methods… red light?! 😄 thank you for sharing!!🙌

  4. Danica, I think you are an amazing person, but I really believe you should work on removing hmm from your vocabulary. At toastmaster they would drop a marble into a tin can while speaking and it really made to think as you spoke.

  5. I am kind of stunned. You lead such a healthy lifestyle, I am surprised you are having issues with your health. Makes me wonder where I am as far as health is concerned.
