  1. Hi Ben. Can you describe the process of going from being in a ketogenic state to the state that happens after you have a high carbohydratemeal,for example. What does it mean to be kicked out of ketosis and how long does it last?

  2. I drive semi‘s long-haul. So I live out of a truck. I tried to order premade keto when I go home but I know I can use a lot of help trying to perfect my diet out on the road. Truckstops have really bad notoriously unhealthy food. I fast pretty consistently, but I know I could use a real structured plan to help out. It’s real easy to deviate out on the road when all of the truckstops are just filled with nothing but junk. I do run out of food eventually from what I order.

  3. I regularly put on 20lbs over 3+ months. Then lose those 20 lbs, using a fast – usually 2 weeks is enough. Manage to lose 1 lbs a day, or 2 lbs a day on continuous exercise days. I repeat the cycle 3 times a year. Or rather I try too, sometimes I am not disciplined.

    Why cycle? If I stay thin/fit I can't do the repeated fasts and get those additional benefits.

    Long fasts = brain cell growth plus boost HGH etc. Things I believe keto/OMAD alone doesn't provide?

    Question…. my 'pee strips' have two squares, one shows ketones and the other fat adaption BHB. After a week my ketones square is deep purple (good) but no change in fat adaption after two weeks of fast? Am I just impatient? Does fat adaption take weeks even when fasting? Is there anything supplement-wise to help the switch to fat adaption – seems I am just over producing ketones that get urinated out.
