I love the idea of creating a healthier life to best enjoy the years to come. I want to live to be 120 but I don’t just want to reach that age, I want to do it vibrantly. Luckily, I know exactly how to do that (and I do plan to live to be 120, vibrantly!), and I’m sharing all that information with you in The Longevity Roadmap. You’ll hear the science behind preventing the most prevalent diseases of aging, and we’ll talk about what it means to build a resilient body.

You’ll learn about:
The difference between the conventional medicine and Functional Medicine approach to disease
Misconceptions about what causes heart disease, the impact of cholesterol in your body, and how to reduce your risk of or treat cardiovascular disease
The Functional Medicine approach to cancer
How to begin balancing hormones
Preserving, supporting, and even strengthening brain function
How you can eat for longevity
Creating habits to keep you young
In this series, I am joined by my colleagues at The UltraWellness Center: Elizabeth Boham, MD, MS, RD, Medical Director and Physician; Todd LePine, MD, Physician; and George Papanicolaou, DO, Physician.

  1. I wonder how much seeing a functional doctor, getting a diagnosis and treatment plan, then all the elements needed to get healthy, costs? Also, I would have expected the speakers here to look 5 to 10 years younger, since they talk about "aging backwards", but they don't.

  2. This hit me to the core: Adding years to my life and life to my years. This motivates me to continue jumping out of bed every morning at 5:30 am to exercise. The best thing is that my husband and kids are all into exercise and healthy eating. The ripple effect, they say. Thanks for your wisdom Dr. Hyman

  3. You lost me when you said carbs are essential …. Please list the essential carbs … I’ll wait here … stop it … you were doing a lot of good .. till you started flat out lying

  4. I'm a huge believer in whole health. The problem is the cost of this and insurance doesn't cover it. I found a functional doctor in Nashville and thought he was going to helping me… However, he was more about his supplements, intravenous vitamin and blood therapy services over spending time looking at my initial problem if Chronic Diarrhea that I'm suffering from. Is there are great functional doctor that can dig in without charging 500$ per hour? Plus charging me for test that are over 1,000$ … Along with programs that run over what a insurance company would charge for standard health care insurance..?

  5. I started watching this I was 61….by the end I was 98…. Yawn… Who the fuck wants to live forever?
Have you seen the state of the world?

  6. Hello and thank you !!!!! Learning so much . I wish there were more functional medicine doctors in the Tampa Bay Area . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  7. This is wonderful stuff. Thank you all the doctors for having taught us so many valuable lessons. I could breeze through this entire video like it were a Tom Cruise film. You all are real superstars. THANKS AGAIN

  8. I am very sorry to say that when I went to my doctor ( the one my health plan suggested) and asked for simple extra tests , she said that was funcional medicine BS and refused to do it . Sorry , I am still studying but medics here is very expensive and I need my health plan. Very frustrating 😢😢😢🤬

  9. I like & have been helped by a lot of Dr. Hyman's vids. I do get a bit tired of him talking about his millionaire self & how wonderful life is when you can afford all his wiz-bang stuff & his personal supplementals & his trips to the Himalayas & Hawaii & on & on. How about tone it down & give us low life peasants some tips on how to achieve, at least , some benefits that the privileged have access to. There has to be some sort of base version that is affordable to the masses. I wish all the blessings in the world to Dr. Hyman but his message becomes impractical to many, if not most, of us, if we don't have access to what he speaks of.
