  3. Taking all these ,sure way to die young than extending your life. You only need one powerful antioxidant like astaxanthin, one powerful anti inflammation like turmeric& ginger mix,k2&d3,magnesium, zinc,amino acid Taurine,quality fish oil,high grade matcha tea.That is all daily.
    More than this will cause organ failure or at best die in couple of years.

  4. Some constructive criticism, I think you should start differentiating between supplements that help with healthspan vs. lifespan vs. both. Some of these have studies proving that they might help with healthspan , but not necessarily making you live longer, and vice-versa. Great video as always!

  5. Thanks SlimLand, Urolithin A could be added as it helps in rejuvenating mitochondria. Even more specifically, it acts on the mitophagy pathway. Mitophagy is a natural cleansing and renewal process whereby damaged and inefficient mitochondria are identified and cleared away. This makes room for new healthy mitochondria, a process known as mitochondrial biogenesis to kick in and help create and rejuvenate the mitochondria.

  6. Missing astaxanthin which I believe is godtier. Also I'd say resveratrol is godtier, the list of benefits is too high. And when combined with fasting it even lengthens lifespan of animals in normal diet, iirc. Also tocotrienols have insufficient evidence but so far don't seem to have the downsides of tocopherols in preliminary studies

  7. Please discuss somewhere in the future the following as well: Astaxanthin, pycnogenol, pterostilbene, chondroitin, pqq, shilajit,eccg,Ashwaghanda, bromelain,luteolin,delphinidins,
    cyanidin 3 glucoside, tudca, calcium d glucarate, fisetin.
    Olive derivatives: oleuroepin, oleocanthan, hydroxityrosol etc

  8. I think once more studies come out well find out that metformin can be put into trash tier due to dna damage. It's god tier in lifespan but becuase it's bad for your dna and fasting is better for you than metformin and metformin is best used for diabetics and not healthy people, it's redundant taking it just to damage your dna which can make you unhealthy. Taurine should be in god tier because it has almost 0 bad effects and safe for the heart. All the supplements you listed in good tier can be in god tier depending on what you need the use for. Curcumin is safe, spirualina. Resveratrol is bad unless you have metabolic disease and you absolutely can't move reveratrol is similar to mimicking exercise to could be useful for obese person to losing weight. Healthy person or skinny people should not be taking resveratrol becuase then your overworking your body with microdoses of stress.

  9. Thank you very much for this. I'm wondering if anyone knows how to obtain rapamycin and metformin? I don't think a GP would prescribe them for me as I don't have clinical reasons for needing them. Thanks again, that was a fantastic presentation!

Siim, nitric oxide seems hugely important to overall cardiovascular health, which of course affects countless other parts of the body – mind, eyes, sexual function, etc. It declines with age, so it seems it would be very worthwhile to try to boost it with food, exercise, and supplements – should slow down some aspects of aging. Would you please do an in-depth video on what the science says?

  11. hey Siim do you listen to the Huberman Lab podcast? He makes a good case for melatonin being quite bad. E.g. the dose various by catastrophic amounts and can do harm to younger people apparently.

  12. Disappointed that you didn't mention Pterostilbene. Higher absorption and slower elimination than Resveratrol, and provides methyl groups, so potentially an alternative to TMG.

    The body can make Taurine from Cysteine. Supplementing NAC may result in higher levels of Taurine without supplementation.

  13. I prefer following the advices of Bryan Johnson, there are a lot of contradictions between what you said is bad or okay and
    actual real measures and some studies.
