I had genetic anxiety complicated with some emotional issues and I was treating them with alcohol. After decades of this I can tell you that it doesn't work long term. I am experiencing some physical effects of the long term alcohol use and still had to deal with the emotional issues separately.

This is really the biggest issue for our country. The alcohol economy vs sobriety. I’m not sober by any means but as someone who doesn’t always drink with the group but also has issues slowing down once I get going, I agree with everything said.
Anyone who drinks alcohol is not automatically an alcoholic.
