  1. Yes, IR is the cell protecting itself.
The new glp-1 products increase/stimulate TRPV1 an incretin-> hyperinsulinemia-> up-regulation of TRPV1 on skeletal muscle cells force feeds glucose into the cell ~independent~ of the insulin receptor -> too much glucose oxidation in excess of the cell’s antioxidants-> excess ROS and glucose oxidation -> mevalonate and the mevalonate pathway when combined with excess ROS -> oxidation of LDL as the mevalonate pathway makes cholesterol, sterols and geranyl peptides. The excess ROS is inflammation and -> FPP in the mevalonate pathway -> excess GGPP-> excess geranyl peptides-> excess osteoclasts -> osteoporosis! So, too much glp-1-> too much TRPV1-> too much insulin -> too much ROS plus mevalonate pathway-> atherosclerosis from oxLDL and osteoporosis from too much osteoclasts breaking down bone.
Ketosis -> mevalonate pathway ~without~ glucose oxidation and ~without~ ROS therefore no osteoporosis, no atherosclerosis! Beta-hydroxybutarate is our friend;) low carb, exercise, intermittent fasting is the key to stopping and reversing the damage by hyperinsulinemia and the insidious scam of the big pharma’s glp-1 products!
