As there’s much to cover in the world of COVID, we’re dividing this week’s episode into two parts. In the first part, we cover the state of global COVID, the state of U.S. COVID, the latest in Long COVID, and what Americans are saying themselves about their latest COVID infections.
In the second part we’ll unpack the Biden talking point that we don’t have to do anything about COVID because “we have the tools”. The administration is using the phrase as rationale for avoiding the combinations of nonpharmaceutical interventions employers adamantly oppose whatever the impact on people’s health.
We’ll have the second part out in the next couple days and will link it here.
“COVID This Week” is produced by Vlad Jean, Shumon Alam, Rob Wallace, Rita Valenti, Les Schaffer, Bennett Torres, Zoe Levitt, Mary Jirmanus Saba, and the People’s CDC.

NY department of health says they are vigilant, but it's your problem if you get sick, not even request to mask, no mask distribution program
Thank you again, PCDC!
Excellent presentation
Well…i was going to go back to the gym😂.
Thank you,
So I ask you again, as I've done numerous times without answer: what do you suggest we do? Is it mask mandates forever? "Social" distancing forever? Vaccine mandates forever? Or should we simply lock people up in their homes forever?
Capitalist countries only care about "line go up" and will happily sacrifice the lot of us to suck up all remaining profits. Thanks for putting public health first and telling us the truth!
Thanks, as always, for doing what can be done to give us any kind of information in this insane situation
thank you!!
I haven't left my property in over 3 1/2 years, but I was considering starting to take bike rides. Now I'm wary of even going to get my booster shot. I guess I'll wear my 3M P100 Respirator, and try to schedule it when fewer people are there. Will it ever be safe to go out w/o a mask on? Is there any hope for better vaccines? I heard about Intranasal Covid Vaccines 8 months ago when India approved the one that was developed here in the US and wondered, "why does India get it but not us?"
Will you also post the 2nd part on Youtube? Or do we just watch for the link here?
