☀️ Mitochondrial Resilience – The TRUE Key To Health And Energy with Dr. Datis Kharrazian

☀️ Free masterclass to double your energy: – In This Video, I am speaking with one of my absolute favorite experts, my friend, the brilliant Dr. Datis Kharrazian, about his extensive expertise in working with people to overcome chronic fatigue. Dr. K is humble and soft-spoken, but don’t let that fool you—he is widely regarded as one of the absolute geniuses of functional medicine and one of the pioneers and thought leaders who have influenced and educated virtually all other functional practitioners out there. This is one of my all-time favorite podcast conversations. There are dozens of gold nuggets in this episode (sometimes subtle, so listen carefully). A true must-listen for anyone who wants to overcome chronic fatigue or any chronic illness.

In this podcast, Dr. Kharrazian and I discuss:

The critical role of mitochondria in health, disease, and longevity
The concept of building resilience and how it relates to mitochondrial health
The right questions to ask when investigating the causes of fatigue
Overlooked culprits for fatigue: toxins, blood sugar, and circadian rhythm
Precise and practical ways to assess mitochondrial function (better than lab tests?)
The role of melatonin in optimizing mitochondria and how to boost its production
Why hormesis is central to understanding and overcoming most chronic illnesses

  1. Great Podcast. Just as I would expect…….. Gets to the key, the root causes. And as usual, you contribute some gems personally, supplementing the knowledge of your great guests

  2. Thank you for the interview. I am a big follower of this channel, I always learn something new. In this interview I was hoping to hear something about the MOTS-C peptide and its studies on improving mitochondria. But you have not talked about this topic. I think it would be interesting. I am using it and I have noticed a great increase in my energy level.

  3. any thoughts on electrical pollutions effects on mitochondria and energy metabolism? Just read The Invisible Rainbow by Arthur Firstenberg curious about your thoughts on onslaught of the modern day "invisibles"

  4. As a trauma informed manual therapist and min body healing coach, I would love to see some serious studies done to correlate emotional stress and mitochondrial function, ie the epigenetics of this phenomenon. Great conversation, thanks gentlemen.

  5. Nice to see Ari and Datis discuss, BUT there is one emerging hypothesis you do not mention. I suggest you start looking at the: "Itaconate Shunt Hypothesis" for ME/CFS. Lots of new info coming out showing interesting results. The idea explains a lot of what might be happening. I hope you take this seriously. Thanks!

  6. Glad to see a practitioner who doesn't agree with what other functional practitioners do, I feel the same way as a patient. I have done many labs and taken many supplements as recommended by these practitioners yet I still have chronic fatigue on a daily basis.
