  1. Thanks for watching this episode with Dr. Robert Lustig! If you're finding it valuable, please vote by hitting the LIKE button on the video. This lets me know what type of guests to book for upcoming shows. Thanks! -Jesse ?

  2. Yes he did eat meat for one year . The difference is the meat he ate was NOT today's farm raised injected crap of today . Good luck , sad . Eyes mind heart and soul wide open. NO FEAR !

  3. Jesse what gives?? I watched this guy 3 months ago on your channel, it was only 90 minutes. This one's two and a half hours. He's wearing the same shirt so I expect this is the longer form of the interview. I wish you would update your comments to reflect that as I had a serious case of deja vu haha. ?????✌️

  4. Question ….if I eat 1/2 salad and 1/2 pasta will that reduce my glycemic load? I follow Dr lustig religiously and have cut ALL sugar and processed foods therefore have lost weigh, brought my ALT & AST down to super low levels and feel so much better. I would really appreciate any clarification I can get. “Desert is desert” but pasta is necessary for my ability to stay on this long term 🙂

  5. Even children today have signs of artery disease. Fast foods and sugary drinks have long term consequences.
There is an obesity epidemic today where over 60% of the population is overweight or obese.
What is common today and "NORMAL" is not healthy. The average person today is not healthy and is taking medications.
Heart attacks were once only common in people over 65. Today people in their 40 are having heart attacks.
Add more plants and vegetables to your diet and less junk and overly processed foods

  6. It is just crazy that Doctors do not get nutrition training in Medical schools.
Every doctor visit should include some nutrition discussion. The majority of the population is over weight or obese leading to high blood pressure, heart disease and cancer. Schools and hospital cafeterias should be leading the way to good health by setting the example of what is a healthy meal and teaching people what to eat and why.. Every person in the hospital for heart disease should have a nutrition class before being checked out from the hospital with follow up education and training in nutrition. Medicare and Medicaid should require patient nutrition education as part of their standard of care. Nutrition information should be run on the hospital TV channel.

  7. Thanks for including the transcript follow along option! That helps a lot when i wanted to hear something again (since YouTube’s back “button” feature is a bit clunky). And also to go back to listen to something I missed much earlier in the talk! great questions too

  8. Is this guy trying to say that grain fibre is more 'natural' than meat? Does he think we evolved eating primarily grains? He says living on meat "can work", but bone analysis of homo sapien skeletons shows ANIMAL PRODUCTS were always our main foods until less than 100 thousand years ago.

  9. K2 production in the gut is dependent on whether you have leafy greens and the right bacteria. Getting it from grass fed animal products is better. Supplementing it does help a lot – as many animal products are grain finished.
