Our guidelines aren’t just wrong, they are corrupt. Even though Coca-Cola alone spends 11 times the amount of money on nutritional research than the NIH annually, it’s not just the the Big Food companies behind it. Behind it from the beginning, and even founding some of the largest Big Food companies such as Kellogg’s and Sanitarium Foods, lies another entity who has influenced the guidelines, the WHO, the McGovern Report, and even the curriculum of nutritionists and Lifestyle Medicine doctors.   1. My boyfriend and daughter did food sensitivity testing and beef and chicken were really high for them as well as eggs for my BF, they both feel ill after eating beef and chicken. So what can I do? I'm trying to heal their guts. with humic and fulvic….My boyfriend will do carnivore but its hard when he cant eat beef.. do you think if we cut out everything and just do beef this will heal itself?

  2. Many of us in the community have known this for years thanks to Belinda Fettke's amazing work, but everyone should know it. And this presentation does a great job at introducing the basics. Share it. And make sure to mention the presentation itself is only 45m, not 1h30m, or you're gonna lose 90% of viewers before they even start the video.

  3. Re: the question of mTOR – you've spoken in other videos about usually eating one meal a day (i.e., OMAD).

    For anyone eating OMAD, their AMPK (the longevity pathway) would be "on" most of the time, after which their mTOR would be switched "on" for 2 or 3 hours around that one meal. Exercising also turns on autophagy and activates AMPK.

    From that perspective, assuming that we want to maximize our AMPK activation, a meat-based or carnivore diet accompanied by a lot of exercise appears to be a very healthy approach. Meat-based diets gives us optimal nutrition and a good dose of mTOR activation; taking breaks from eating (whether we call it "intermittent fasting" or just say, "I only feel the need for one meal a day") give us optimal AMPK activation.

  4. Dr. Chaffee for president! Hah. But in all seriousness, this dude and his message are phenomenal. Been carnivore for 10 weeks, psoriasis gone, heartburn is no more, I sleep better, have more energy and the list goes on. Keep it up

  5. Most supplements irritate my gut, most as in probably 90% of them so eating whole healthy animal foods is important to me I only supplement with electrolytes and Omega 3 if I do need anything else I'm sure my body will tell me
