  1. Started IF (16:8) 8th of January, no alcohol and low carb diet (no exercise yet). Already lost 5 kg (from 100 to 95 kg). Goal is to get back to normal weight which is approximately 83 kg 🤞😊

  2. hi Dr. Berg, I wonder why my MS symptoms got worse after waterfasting for 2 weeks. I can barely walk now. I fasted with electrolytes, also took a vitaminpill everyday…..I thought fasting was good

  3. Does Protein Powder break intermittent fasting? What should bodybuilders do to avoid muscle loss during intermittent fasting? If someone doing OMAD is also doing weight training, does protein powder after training break intermittent fasting? Should we exercise after 16 hours of fasting or should we eat after 16 hours of fasting and go to the gym 2 hours later? What is your suggestion for fat burning and bodybuilding together?

  4. I feel really great with one meal a day. My knees are so much better too. Occasionally, I'll go 48 hours. It's a lot easier than I thought it would be. I've been on the healthy keto for 8 months.

  5. I am a government office worker, my job requires me to be stationed all the time from 8:0012:00 and 13:0016:30 until 17:30 on someday. I'm not even hungry at 12:00 but I have to eat because I normally get hungry again around 14:00 which I will be stationed and can't get anything to eat. I tried several time to push it to omad in the evening 😂 after listen to this, I'll plan my omad meal well so it can last me until next evening time. Thanks Dr.Berg, I lost 15 kg from doing Keto and IF.

  6. I did a 7 day fast and lost 15 pounds. I literally went down 2 pant sizes in a week. All of my inflammation and puffy cheeks went away. I am looking forward to my next fast.

  7. @jaggaafaku. Ramadan is not a healthy form of fasting though. Ramadan doesn't let you drink water during fasting. Healthy fasting requires drinking water to heal, flush out toxins and stay hydrated. "Fasting during Ramadan means abstinence from all food or drink, including water and chewing gum, from dawn to sunset."

Many muslims pass out because they need water, especially when hiking and other activities while fasting without water.

  8. I started alternate day fasting in December 2023 and currently in February I have lost 25 plus pounds and my body composition is much better, I have no intense cravings anymore and I feel so much healthier. I will be continuing fasting for the rest of my life .

  10. Fasting beats the heck out of "low carb",Keto" etc. I started eating every other day/fasting every other day! Works great for me. I don't worry about what to eat or when. I started this Jan 1st and have lost 17 pounds and on my "eat" days I eat whatever I like. Glad to have you on board Dr Berg!!!

  11. I really want to try intermittent fasting, but if I don’t eat when I’m hungry I get a migraine and feel nauseous. Is there a way to get around that?

  12. I have been intermittent fasting with water (OMAD at 5pm – around 1,000 Calories) for around 8 days and my sleep has improved; I have more energy; and overall feel happier. Strange what a week can do!!!

  13. I just finished a five day fast this week. I started with a 70 hour dry fast (no food or any fluid)
My longest fast was 11&1/2 days.
My longest dry fast was 130 hours.
I fast for usually a week every 3-4 months to put my Lyme disease symptoms in remission. I don’t have to take supplements anymore.
