Comments around minute 20 regarding kid use of tablets really hit home. My boys are 8 and 6, all their contemporaries have and use tablets. We are the outliers because we don' t have one at all. Also outliers because the kids don't play minecraft and video games. My 8 year old has friends who are getting their own youtube channels. Invited to one of their classmates parents for dinner (they have boys in same class as ours), they give each kid a tablet while they eat their air fried chicken nuggets and fries. In my head, Im thinking blue light, emfs, deuterium, glyphosate, yikes. My wife asks me to hold my tongue for social reasons, but man. These kids have wild mood swings and its just chalked up to oh that's how they are … Kids in my older one's class already having anxiety issues and the parents wonder why. The conditioning is tough.
