How do we know how organisms have evolved? Fossils help for sure, but they are available only partially. In this video I will present the methods how scientists succeed to go back in time. As an example I will present our current understanding of the evolution of mitochondria – important cell organelles from the cells of all organisms you can see with your naked eyes.
