How To Improve Mitochondrial Function

In today’s video, Jess O’Dwyer, a nutritional therapist at The Optimum Health Clinic, explores mitochondrial function with Lydia Madrigal from MakeWell, one of the nutritional supplements companies we partner with. Together, they discuss the appropriate nutrients required to replenish the system.

Mitochondrial dysfunction is believed to be an underlying cause of chronic fatigue syndrome. Mitochondria are often referred to as the “powerhouses” of cells because one of their main functions in the body is to produce energy in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP).

When mitochondria don’t function properly, it can lead to a decrease in ATP production, which can significantly impact the body’s organs, tissues, and systems that rely on those cells for energy production.

In this video, you will learn
– Relevance of mitochondrial health in chronic fatigue
– Causes of mitochondrial dysfunction
– Nutrients required for mitochondrial health
– The importance of mitochondrial testing
