Today’s topic is more of a theoretical one, as we dived deep into the inside of our cells, where the small bean shaped mitochondria produce ATP – “adenosine tri phosphate” – energy.
A phrase most people remember from high school biology – “The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell,” and we will find out why and how it functions, going through the Krebs cycle (or citric acid cycle) and mitochondrial biogenesis.
