11 Days Notice! Was Volk’s Fight Camp Too Short? (S&C Breakdown)

Did Alex Volkanovski have enough time to get in shape for his rematch with Islam Makhachev? How did Volk get fight-ready or UFC 294 on only 11 days notice?

With such little time to prepare, Volk had to make a number of adjustments to his usual fight preparations. I’m going to break down Volk’s Strength & Conditioning and cardio training in detail in this video!

We don’t see this often with title fights in the UFC but short-notice fights are not uncommon in the amateur scene. If you have little time to prepare, you should be able to apply some of Volk’s methods to your own fight camps.
