I made a video about the famous powerhouse of the cell, the Mitochondria (or for short: the Mito). This is for my AP BIO class. Enjoy.

The mito is a vital organelle, you’ll see.
Breaking down that glucose, obtaining energy
With a function of cellular respiration, forming ATP.
Double or nothing the membrane has two layers.
On courts of cytoplasm, it’s the most valuable player.
With folds folded inwards to increase the surface area.
With 100k mitos in the heart to further this hysteria.
Reproducing and growing up all on its own
With a center cavity filled with several ribosomes.
Can’t forget about the enzymes and the mtDNA
Mitos are found in cells needing this great amount of energy.
Producing energy is just what the Mito does,
Giving its energy to ribosomes just because
The Ribosomes require energy to create proteins
Thus, the mitochondria of the cell can be viewed as the Queen.
