  1. Okay, I get the need for oil change; did that; I'm off all of them. Now I use MCT-8, Coco Butter, Ghee, Macadamia, and Olive. Even then, the Olive oil and Avocado oils are BOTH high in anti-nutrient compounds and oxalates which block cell receptors ability to absorb magnesium and iron and copper (if I recall correctly); thus energy levels suffer along with many metabolic processes in the body catalyzed by magnesium. Me wonders if the reason the modern nations are suffering a pandemic of magnesium deficiency is due to food oils and plants containing anti-nutrients and oxalates? Since reducing my "good oil" consumption (been several months), nuts – I was eating lots of nuts (oxalates), avocados (top in oxalates), most dark green plants like arugula (oxalates/anti-nutrients), cloves, olive oil (high in oxalates) and cacao (top in oxalates; used it for my home-made chocolate); well, at 63, my energy levels have been steadily increasing (I do all the other normal low-carb/ketovore protocols). Now I have been suffering a bit of "oxalate dumping" (I suspect anyway; no way to be sure). This has forced me to near total carnivore. I did finally find a powder based Omega 3 (SoActive® Omega 3 EPA & DHA) since I can't use fish oil (oxidized/rancid in the capsules) and don't get as much as I want from my meat diet (salmon is too frelling pricey); I do have some cantaloupe from time to time for my "flex days." I learned most of this from a Paul Saladino MD (with Morley Robbins) video about the topic: "The unique benefits of magnesium with Morley Robbins." Am I too paranoid or misinformed?
