NASHA WINTERS 3 | High omega 6-3 ratio: BAD NEWS FOR MITOCHONDRIA Beef: ultra low ratio

http://www.DoctorsToTrust.com
presents episode 701 | Dr Nasha Winters
Keto Kamp podcast

Our ability to get rid of the rogue
cells is guided by mitochondria…
-if mitochondria are weak
-if their numbers are down
We are vulnerable to cancer growth
“Adipose tissue has far less
mitochondria than muscle
-if body fat 25% + more storage
for the toxins that support cancer
-you have less mitochondria to help

If you are on statins, because your
doctor was afraid of your lipids…
-statins deplete CoQ10
[antioxidant heart needs to survive]
-heart is very large organ containing
densely packed mitochondria
-statins remove mitochondria, along
with cholesterol…
-heart then is much more vulnerable

Dr Winters’ recommendations…
-make mitochondria stronger
-work on mitogenesis [cell generation]
`intermittent fasting &
`cryotherapy
bring on new mitochondrial function
Omega 6 to 3 ratio
-higher omega 6 means problems
with cardiolipin [critical component in
mitochondrial membrane]
-should be max 4 to 1 ratio; today many are 26 to 1

One patient said: “I will drink almond milk!”
-it is 2000 to 1 ratio omega 6 to 3
‘People think they are doing great:
-almond milk, flour, butter
Ben Azadi:
-almonds very high in oxalates
[almonds highest of all nuts]
Best ratios are saturated animal fats
-olive oil: 12 to 1
-deep, cold water fish is best
-grassfed beef close to 1 to 3!
